Artificial intelligence: a partner, a tool or a thief?

Hello my human friends!
With the latest single “Artificial Love” released in collaboration with Ross Lustre, I’ve been talking about AI a lot. It’s a fascinating tool, no doubt, but I find myself in a bit of a tug of war about it.

On the one hand, artificial intelligence is amazing. It’s like having an extra pair of hands in the studio. Organizing tasks and calendars, analyzing insights, washing my socks: it’s a lifesaver. I’m genuinely excited about the possibilities it opens up, especially when it comes to managing those repetitive tasks that can be, let’s be honest, quite tedious.

But then there is the flip side. The part of me that worries we might get a little too comfortable with these digital helpers. What if we started relying on AI for more than just boring things? What if creativity starts taking a backseat because, hey, AI can “kind of” do it for us?

My biggest concern, however, is regulation and oversight. How can we ensure that AI remains a tool and not the artist? How can we prevent it from creeping too much into our human-machine relationships? These are questions I have no answers to, but they are often on my mind these days.

Artificial intelligence and the amore artificiale.

With “Artificial Love” I wanted to capture this issue. It’s something that could happen in the not too distant future and, as reported in the article I shared on my socials a few days ago, the OpenAI ChatGPT store already has an avalanche of virtual girlfriends ready to keep lonely souls company.
Let’s try to keep our human element at the core.

So that’s it.

My opinion on artificial intelligence is a mix of enthusiasm and fear. It’s a powerful tool that can make our lives easier and more efficient, but let’s not forget that human creativity must take the lead. Here’s how to find the right balance in our dance with technology. What’s your opinion about AI?

Listen to “Artificial Love” feat. Ross Lustre on Spotify, Apple Music, Bandcamp and the main digital stores. It’s about a man falling in love with an artificial intelligence, and it’s exquisitely 90s Eurodance.
